Over the last few months, the team at TDI Academy has been busy launching our new Academy Programmes, in line with our mission of accelerating understanding of, and enthusiasm for, the ways in which insurance can be improved through the use of new digital technologies, from “the few to the many”.
When we first identified the increasing need for a virtual Learning & Development capability focused on digital insurance many months ago, who knew that we would be launching our Programmes at a time when our lives would become so digitally dependent and where, for many, virtual learning would be the only option. Some would say that we timed it perfectly. Others may call it
luck. I'd like to think it's a bit of both!
Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella was recently quoted saying "2 years' worth of digital transformation has occurred in the last 2 months". Whilst he was not referring specifically to insurance, his observations aligned perfectly with our own recent Point of View paper on The Digital Tipping Point – which went even further warning that insurers must act now to not get left further behind. However, does our professional insurance
community have the right knowledge, skills and insights to make this happen - are you and your staff ready for the digital age? We believe there is more work to be done.
And that's why we created TDI Academy, because we know that people are the key success factor in any successful digital transformation programme.
We now have three 100% virtual programmes running to meet the growing interest and demand for digital insurance L&D, that can be consumed anywhere and anytime, and crucially, that are applicable and relatable to the fast-changing world of insurance.

Further information on our Programmes:
1. CDI Our CDI Programme (Certificate in Digital Insurance), is now open for on-demand registration. This Programme can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere and can be completed within as little as 1-3 months - it's designed to give those looking for a fast and convenient option to up-skill their digital
insurance skills by learning from top industry experts without a significant time commitment. In order to obtain the CDI Certificate, participants need to complete a minimum of 28 lessons out of 56. For those that complete CDI, there is also the option to upgrade to our ADI Programme - see below for further information on ADI.
2. ADI ADI (Associate Digital Insurer) is our 'mini MBA' in digital insurance and is designed for those who want to earn a professional designation at the end of it. The Programme content is the same as CDI but participants must complete assignments and participate in live weekly discussion groups in order to obtain their designation. The time commitment and
investment is therefore greater than CDI. However, the Programme is still designed to be self-paced and completed over a period of 6-9 months with all material accessible 24/7 and from anywhere in the world.
We currently have two full ADI cohorts running with participants from a number of global insurers. Our next cohort will begin in September 2020 and is filling up rapidly. The timezones for the weekly discussion groups are currently suitable for European and Asia timezones only - however we hope to include others in the near future.
3. EDI EDI (Executive Digital Insurer) is specifically for senior leadership teams in insurance companies (minimum of 10 Executives) and is designed for immediate impact and value generation. It combines virtual learning, 1-1 coaching and bespoke surveys designed to help leaders hone their skills in digital insurance as well as provide business lead insights on the key
opportunities and challenges in a digital first world.
