Zurich seeks innovative solutions to create future of insurance
Zurich is inviting InsurTechs to join their Innovation Championship, and there are only a few days remaining to get your entry in.
Submission deadline is December 23rd.
The Zurich Innovation Championship is a worldwide challenge for entrepreneurs, bringing agile innovative startups the reach and experience of a global insurer.
It is about uncovering the best new innovative solutions, to meet the changing needs of customers, and help our industry face the future in an efficient and sustainable way.
Startups and scaleups making it into the accelerator will benefit from entering Zurich's co-creation implementation lab, where they will work alongside Zurich, with the chance to take their product or service to market in new or existing locations.
Furthermore, financial support and tailored mentoring sessions with Zurich's senior executives will be included, to provide each team the best opportunity to succeed.

If you meet the criteria and are selected for the local round, you will present your solution to the leadership team of your selected country. Up to five startups from each country will be then put forward to the global round.
In the global round, Zurich will select the most promising entrants in early 2022 for an intensive three-month Innovation Championship Accelerator phase.
For those who make it through to the acceleration phase, they will receive project funding from Zurich of up to USD 100,000, exposure to a potential global market and an existing customer base, plus mentoring and engagement from senior executives.
In addition, companies that make it into the accelerator will have the opportunity to receive (in addition to the project funding stated above) up to USD 120,000 of credits for Microsoft Azure or AWS services.
