The Digital Insurer is nearly one year old and the membership base now exceeds 2,000 subscribers. Membership continues to remain open to all at no charge.

In the next quarter a makeover of the website is planned. This will hopefully, with the support of corporate sponsors, allow more content to be produced and shared with subscribers and readers on a free basis. The idea is to create the leading "digital insurance library" on the web - a curated knowledge base available to members of the site.

My consulting and business development efforts remain focused on the implementation and development of Point of Sales tablet toolkits. However, I am also actively exploring opportunities for new digital models - in particular aggregator models in Asia as well as opportunities for digital worksite marketing.

I had the pleasure of giving two presentations last quarter: IDC Financial Insight and IQPC Claims and Underwriting - both held in Singapore. Summaries of both presentations are on slide share and accessible from the site.

In the fourth quarter I have a presentation on the Digital Advisor in Ho Chi Minh in November  and I have also been asked to chair the "Tech Tuesday" session at the Pacific Insurance Conference in Hong Kong in October (its 50th year!).

Last, but not least, I am very pleased to announce that Chris Lossin, a fellow founder of Insight Consulting, rejoined as an executive director in September where he will bring valuable experience to our Digital Ventures. More info
