Events - Looking forward

We are looking forward to our Annual TDI Asia conference on 2nd November. We have a packed event and it is going to be fun and informative - the TDI team, organisers and panelists have been working hard. It will be be a little bit different from most conferences and we are looking forward to meeting up with all those who can attend.

I am on a panel this week in Hong Kong for the FT Asian Insurance Summary and on the 26th October am speaking at the FinTech for Health Insurance summit organised by Access Health International. Health insurance is a subject close to my heart - and certainly a major beneficiary of technological change.

Events - Looking back

The Europe LiveStream event was a success and is the first time we have done a 100% LiveStream for a full conference - in this case six hours spread over two days. We are investing more in digital events as we think it is the most cost effective and convenient mechanism for attendees and participants. New website + sharpened focus

The new website is launched. Hope you enjoy it. We have reorganised and now have a platform fit for purpose as we go forward. Thank you to Li Wee who has run our website behind the scenes since we started and worked tirelessly with our designers to get this out.

If you are eagle eyed you will see we have changed our strapline to "working together to accelerate the digital transformation of insurance". Not rocket science but we did discuss it a lot! The strapline reflects our belief that digital transformation is a team endeavour - the idea that an insurer can 'go solo' in this area is over. we also know all insures are taking digital seriously now - so the challenge is how we can all work together to make it happen faster.

Coming soon

Many people have asked what our business model is. So far it has been that we want to build the world's best knowledgebase and community on digital insurance, and we remain 100% committed to that - but think we can do more.

We have two information services to launch in 2018 - both aimed to help insurers make more informed decisions on digital business model and tech that enables value chain innovations. We are also sharpening our focus on market development services for insurance technology companies and how we can help them to present their solutions, get in touch if you would like to know more.
