The first monthly edition of U$ Disrupted was launched last month, edited by Tom Bobrowski, our head of North America. Check it out here.
We are planning to expand our content and service offerings to North America and are talking to a number of organisations about content and service partnership
opportunities going forward.
Content highlights from Q2 2018 and new content plans
Our KPMG sponsored content continues to deliver the monthly Digital
Insurance in Action newsletter and InsurTech Insights along with our well-attended webinars. This months InsurTech insights covered wealth and asset management. Our two interactive webinars in the quarter, sponsored and moderated by KPMG, covered ‘Simplifying the Customer Experience’ and ‘InsurTechs Accelerating Operational Excellence’. Both drew large participation from members across the world and had strong engagement -
you can review the recording, poll results and Q&A here.
Our Swiss Re sponsored bilingual monthly blog 'China in Focus' covered four topics in the last quarter:
Do also check-out our Daily Newswire, which continues to aggregate digital insurance news, while providing clear links and
attribution to the third party sources that do a great job helping to keep the industry abreast of the latest developments.
We have also released a lot of our video content onto the site, including recordings from our events and webinars. You can access the video information here.
We will also be launching a new live interview format called 'TDI Talks!' this quarter.
TDI event participation
During the quarter the TDI team were involved in events in Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Romania. View our event listings for information and content on events TDI has been involved in as well as events coming up.
In addition to our own Global LIVEFEST event we are participating in a number of events in the next quarter, in Bangkok, London and Boston. Full details are available on the events page.
Our next webinar is on
the 29th August and is on ‘Technology Infrastructure for Global Insurers’. Register here.
If you have a relevant public or private event you would like us to get involved in as speakers, moderators or panellists, please let us know and we will do our best to support.
Community Sponsorship – service enhancements and new
signups
Our second
enrolment period closed and we are pleased to welcome DBS & AIA as new regional sponsors for Asia. This makes a total of 11 community sponsors and we are taking to a number of companies about enrolment this quarter. Our full list of community sponsors is available here.
Community Sponsors benefit from a range of corporate members services such as preferential information services and deeper media coverage, as well as ecosystem connectivity and general support for the knowledge and community building mission of The Digital Insurer.
We also held two informal meetups – one in Singapore that was at Prudential offices and one in Hong Kong at Swiss Re offices – offering an ‘invite only’ group of industry movers and shakers the opportunity to mix with each
other, the TDI team, and selected InsurTechs.
We are also launching our digital insurance jobs board in the third quarter and our Community Sponsors will get preferential access to this in the first instance.
ITR Connect - NEW INFROMATION SERVICE - launching in Q3 – covering research, analytics, insights & ratings on InsurTechs
We have been working hard on our new rating, analytics and information service on InsurTechs and are actively recruiting founder members to
develop the service further. This subscription service is designed to give your teams quality information and analysis on InsurTechs to allow you to make faster, more efficient and better-informed decisions on your future technology partners and/or investment positions.
Do you want to get more involved in the TDI community?
We continue to expand our volunteer News Correspondent network, which helps to provide additional insights on digital insurance taking place around the world. Some of our correspondents are also starting to produce regional blogs. Let us know if
you are interested in a correspondent or blog contributor role.
On a final note, please continue to share your
digital insurance experiences and reports to news@the-digital-insurer.com and thanks as usual for your readership, ongoing support and suggestions for improvements and new services.
Yours digitally,
